Adding online co-op would practically require rewriting the whole game which would take 6-12 months. Online play is something which must be planned from the beginning to be implemented properly. It's not technically feasible to add a component like this at a late stage in development.
In addition Crimsonland has the added challenge of showing hundreds of enemies on the screen at the same time. Most multiplayer games have only dozens of dynamic objects. I'm not sure if there are that many games which feature hundreds of enemies visible on the screen at the same time while sporting a fluid & robust multiplayer experience - we'd be glad to hear about them though!
