Płatny Darkfall Online zamyka serwery. "Mamy nadzieję wrócić"

Dear friends, We have been involved with Darkfall for over 13 years now and it is our hope that we will be able to continue well into the future with your support. Unfortunately, and against our best efforts, the conditions in Greece have caught up with us and do not allow us to continue operating the game as we have been so far.

We hope that the disruption of Darkfall Unholy Wars service is temporary and that we will be back soon in a more sustainable format. We apologize for the inconvenience to all that are affected.

Zamknięcie jest podobno tymczasowe (przynajmniej takie są nadzieje twóców) i spowodowane problemami ekonomicznymi, ale jak będzie naprawdę, tego niestety nie wiemy. Darkfall Online (Darkfall: Unholy Wars) od dawna przecież nie znajdował się w dobrej kondycji. Serwery świeciły pustkami, raz po raz organizowano Darmowe Weekendy, rozważano nawet przejście na model Free2Play zamiast obecnego abonamentu, ale na planach się skończyło. 

Nie płaczcie jednak, bo nawet jak Darkfall: Unholy Wars zostanie wyłączony, to na horyzoncie widnieją 2x inne MMORPG’i z Darkfallem w tytule: Darkfall: New Dawn i Darkfall: Rise of Agon. Ich premiera jest spodziewana pod koniec roku.
