Będzie więcej gejowskich postaci w Overwatch

Blizzard już dawno temu przyznał, że w Overwatch istnieją homoseksualne postacie. Jednak dopiero teraz postanowili rozwinąć nieco ten temat i wyjawić powody wprowadzenia gejów lub lesbijek do swojej gry.

We’re here to build a very diverse game. We’re looking globally, we’re looking for all different kinds of people, different body types, all of that. Maybe we’re not telling any romantic stories at the moment, but it’s a possibility for the future for sure. I don’t think that we’d want to exclude anybody from that kind of interaction.

There is an LGBT character in the game. It’s difficult, because we don’t want to just be weirdly heavy-handed with this.

Aha. Czyli wprowadzili homoseksualne postacie, bo myślą… globalnie. Według Blizzarda, świat jest pełen różnych ludzi, o różnej budowie ciała i dlatego nie chcieli nikogo wykluczać. Logiczne i bardzo szlachetne, chociaż niektórym graczom z „prawej strony” może się to nie podobać. Tym bardziej, że w przygotowaniu jest kolejny bohater LGBT:)

We don’t want to force something in the game that is just going to feel like it’s in people’s face. We don’t want people to be like, “This just doesn’t make sense.”

Czyli po Sombrze zobaczymy jakiegoś geja lub lesbijkę. Milutko. Nowy bohater/bohaterka dołączy tym samym do istniejących homo-postaci. Nie trzeba być Sherlockiem, aby odgnąć, że chodzi o Zarię, Lucio i najprawdodobniej Mei: 

Czy to jednak ważne, jakiej kto jest orientacji seksualnej? Chyba nie.
